What is goWebtop?
goWebtop is a new kind of online desktop that allows you to communicate and collaborate, no matter where you are or what browser you're using. As a hosted version of Laszlo Webtop, the service combines multiple Web 2.0-based applications that are designed to seamlessly interact with one another, creating a fluid user experience that does what you want, when you want it to.
goWebtop has lots of cool features and functions including Mail, Contacts, Calendar, a cool Cinematic User Experience™, a universal application dock, and above all, it's fun to use!

Getting Started with goWebtop
Why is goWebtop in Beta?
We're looking to you to provide valuable feedback and recommend improvements or let us know about any problems in our Beta release. Future versions of goWebtop.com will include even more Web 2.0-based applications, such as Photos and IM, and as a Beta member, you'll be one of the first in the world to use them!
How much storage comes with goWebtop?
Your account comes preset with 1 GB of free storage! You'll notice a storage meter with a visual and numeric display that indicates how much storage you have used, as well as how much is left. So it's going to be a while before you come close to running out of space!
Can I send this to my friends and family to try?
Absolutely! We encourage you to forward the gowebtop.com URL to your contacts. They will be prompted to sign up for a new account at the Welcome screen and can get started right away.
How do I log in or get an account?
- Current users: Simply log in with your existing credentials at gowebtop.com.
- New users: Return to the welcome screen at gowebtop.com and hit the "Register Now" button.
If my company is interested in something like this, could I rebrand it?
No problem, Laszlo Webtop has been created in order to handle such requests. If you're a service provider or business, you can rebrand the interface with your logo, extend wentop by adding your own OpenLaszlo applications as well as change the color/skinning of the entire webtop to suit your needs.

Webtop is an extensible communication and collaboration suite. If I'm a developer, can I add my own applications?
You should know that all Webtop applications are built using the OpenLaszlo development platform. We have architected gowebtop.com to act as a testing site for third-party applications in the future and we'll be introducing a program to do that shortly.
